Holt County Ethanol, L.L.C. Of Continues Progress

O'Neill, Nebraska - March 22nd, 2007 - Though it's not visually evident passing by the plant site of Holt County Ethanol, L.L.C., eight miles East of O'Neill, Nebraska, steady progress is being made for construction to begin in the near future. Kurt Bravo, C.F.O. and Project Manager said "Right now we're working on finalizing contracts with lenders and an E.P.C.(Engineering, Procurement, & Constrution)

contractor. If everything continues to progress at this rate, we are confident that we can start moving dirt by the end of this spring or beginning of this summer at the latest". Bravo added "The permitting, engineering, and equipment procurement of an ethanol plant this size takes a lot of time, and requires a lot of patience from everyone involved. We have been, and continue to make progress, but it's mostly behind the scenes. If anyone has any questions or concerns, we invite them to stop by our office at 116 West Douglas in O'Neill (just North of O'Neill Travel Now), by phoning us at (402)336-1108, or by e-mailing us at (402)336-1108, or by e-mailing us at oneill@midwestethanol.com ".

Holt County Ethanol, L.L.C. Issued Construction Permit

O'Neill, Nebraska - January 8th, 2007 - The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality recently issued Holt County Ethanol, L.L.C. their construction permit following a 30-day public comment period. The issuance of the construction permit allows the ehtanol plant to advance onto the next stage of the building process. Holt County Ethanol is also working on the finalization of the Engineering
Procurement and Construction(E.P.C.) contract, which is a necessary step in the construction of the plant. Holt County Ethanol, L.L.C. is also beginning to discuss the development with other ag related industries such as a Bio Diesel plant and a CO2 plant to be located at the same site 6 miles east of O'neill. The Bio Diesel Plant would utilize the germ oil portion of the corn processed at the ethanol plant, along with soybeans. The CO2 is also a by-product of the ethanol production process and would be captured and sold primarily to bottling companies for use in soft drinks. The development of these plants and possible construction would continue to boost the economy of O'Neill and the surrounding communities while providing resources to other facilities.
